You can’t really call yourself a Bourbon or Rye aficionado if Leopold 3 Chamber isn’t on your radar. This groundbreaking spirit is a resurrection of a lost American art form and is a quintessential spirit of the modern American whiskey landscape. It must be tasted to be believed. The first 3 chamber still built since the 1800’s was the result of Todd Leopold’s dogged historical research and he convinced vendome to produce one based on drawings. It’s massive, inefficient and really tough to work on but produces an almost magical spirit in the hands of the Leopold Bros. If you’re looking for something really rare for that special someone on your list then you’d be hard pressed to do better than a bottle of Leopold 3 Chamber Rye! @provisionsok

After a long absence from the Oklahoma market Champagne Bruno Paillard has returned! A long time personal favorite of ours. Back in the early 2000s when I was working retail @ranchacreswine part time and teaching English during the day, this , along with Billecart-Salmon were among my faves! Still are! We’re thrilled that a pioneer like @champagnebrunopaillard is back as they helped set the stage for the modern Grower Champagne renaissance - they were the first to put disgorgement dates on the back of bottles. This seems commonplace today but in the 1980s was unheard of. And, this is the kicker, they are using the oldest perpetual base reserve of any house. Meaning they have wine in this blend that goes back to the 1980s as well. Incredible. The result is very telling on the palate as there is true dimensionality with this cuvée. Not surprised to hear that REMELLURI Rioja Reserva 2016 made it onto @wine_spectator Top 100 Wines of 2025. We were lucky w enough to visit there in May and it was one of those dreamlike afternoons that nOw in retrospect seem even dreamier because of the shear vibe and beauty of the landscape. Alteño honors the distillery from which it comes by its very name! New Arrival! IYKYK. DW. “Chartogne-Taillet is one of the essential estates of the grower Champagne movement They produce some of the region’s most ridiculously delicious, highly-coveted wines. But today we’re over the moon to share the fresh release of their flagship cuvée, “Sainte Anne,” which delivers the unique, beautifully chiseled Chartogne magic at an approachable price. This is an unmissable opportunity to work with one of the very best values in Champagne today. Chartogne-Taillet is based in the village of Merfy. Just a short drive from Reims and Grand Crus like Verzy and Verzenay, Merfy is in an obscure sub-zone known as the Massif de Saint-Thierry. First planted in the 7th century, soils here are rich in clay, sand, and pure chalk, and are planted to all three major Champagne grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Since 2006, the estate has been run by the brilliant Alexandre Chartogne. Maniacally obsessed with translating his terroirs into the glass, Alexandre trained under none other than the iconic Anselme Selosse. You can feel Selosse’s influence in the alluring tension between richness and cut that define these wines. The estate has been practicing organic viticulture since 2002; since Alexandre’s arrival, it has moved even deeper into natural farming. Chickens and sheep roam freely in the vines to control pests and weeds. Half of the rows are left to grow cover crops, and half are plowed by horse to avoid the soil becoming compacted. Harvest is done by hand and the wines are vinified and aged in neutral oak barrels of varying sizes and shapes. “Sainte Anne” is a study in freshness, depth and cool mountain minerality. It’s a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier. The base wine is from the ripe, energetic 2022 blended with older reserve wine for a gentle touch of oxidation and heady complexity. It’s bottled with just 2.5 grams of dosage.

When one of the greatest white wine makers in the world, Jean Marc Roulot, combines forces with Pierre Rocchetta of the renowned Italian winery, Sassicaia to make old vine Chardonnay in Patagonia, the world takes notice. Bodega Chacra was started in 2004 when Rocchetta arrived in the Rio Negro Valley, purchasing abandoned extremely old vine vineyards the oldest dating back to 1932. Today’s result are wines of immense intensity and finesse. Roulot over sees all aspects of the white wine program at Chacra, even shipping his wine press from Mersault to make the wines. Aromatically they are unmistakably Jean Marc Roulot but with something “else” going on. Just chosen by @james.suckling as the Argentinian Wine of the year and given 97 Points! “So linear and driven, with so much tension and intensity. Aromas of sliced apples, lemons and stones. Medium-bodied with flavors of apples, seashells, lemons and crushed stones. It goes on and on. In France, in Burgundy, in Puligny-Montrachet, in the Le Cailleret Premier Cru vineyard, mere feet away and adjacent to, the greatest of all, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru. While Le Cailleret is not Chevalier, it’s damn close and worthy on its own merits to be considered in the conversation of top sites. Especially at this price, the wines are already scarce and hard to find and they will only be more so in the future. Vincent Boyer-Martenot makes the wine transparently and it needs nothing, wants nothing but gives totally. We first opened this bottle on our 24th Anniversary on Tuesday and then had the final two glasses tonight, on Saturday, and the wine only increased in power and potency. Almost as if it unwound some of its intense acidity to reveal more and more fruit and body. Just a stunner. Highly allocated. Always excited about new things and has the ability to be high falutin’ without being pompous. A rare thing indeed when it comes to wine. He just gets it. Hospitality is the thing. Kindness is the thing. Excitement about the process and the people who are doing it the right way. Those are the things. @grandcruselections is lucky to have him.
